“My ephemeral rope weaving brings a sense of the mystical in the room. My movements are as delicate as the silks, lingerie and heels adorning me and my muses. My style of shibari is a sheer spectacle of feminine radiance. My muse is sculpted gracefully by my ropes, as I transform their body into an striking tableau. The contrast of my gentle touch mixed with the intensity of rope suspension is what makes this performance particularly moving, leaving spectators with a lingering emotion, as if they had all been touched by the same tenderness while dangerously defying gravity, held by a few strategically placed cords.    

When one is watching shibari, they are witnessing an act of extreme attentiveness in part of the rigger, coupled with the complete trust from the muse; she is certain she is in safe hands. This is the aspect that keeps the audience with bated breath; the tension of risk in the air, the swiftness of the hands, the unspoken communication between two parties.
